In a nutshell.......

Hi all, well the good news is that no-one in our house is currently sick. touch wood.

Lots has been happening around here, but i'll just give you the condensed in a nutshell version and post some photos before the kids wake up from their nap. If i go for the detailed version it's likely the kids will wake up and interrupt me and this blog could go for another 3-4 wks without being updated.

Firstly the most exciting development is that Kahu is toilet trained!!!!

Ok the kids are awake now so in a really small nutshell.....

I started a photography night course on Monday, love it and really good to be doing something totally unrelated to kids. Although next week's topic is photographing Children and babies!!! can't get away from them that easy.
We're off to Auckland next week for our friend Nikki's wedding, looking forward to catching up with a lot of old friends and of course the chance to dress up and wear something other than jeans or trackpants.
My Mum flies in from Saudi Arabia next Friday for a month long holiday of which her and Dad will spend 7-8 days here in Papamoa, really looking forward to spending time with Mum & Dad and seeing them with the kids.

Sick.....and sicker

Kahu has just recovered from a nasty bout of gastroenteritis. I thought Kiwa and I had come away unscathed but he woke yesterday morning vomiting and now I can feel it coming on plus i have a bad cold and am feeling like absolute crap already.

Before and in amongst all this we had Rayna for a week, and Brendon took her and Kahu down to the snow and before that the boys and I went away for a really cool weekend in Auckland to catch up with friends.

All that is a fond but distant memory now though. Brendon or i will post some pics soon....not of the vomiting & diarrhoea...of the snow of course!
